    Job Description

    Position Title: Regional IT Support Specialist
    Reports to: Manager, IT


    Location: Munich, Germany The regional support specialist is responsible for providing on the ground IT customer service and support for the A&F store locations in specific regions around the globe. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a customer service orientation, as well as strong organizational, technical, and communication skills. The regional administrator will provide great customer service and technical coverage to ensure optimal system uptime and performance in the store and office locations within their specific region. This position will be responsible for supporting the in-store technology footprint from a hand's on perspective, leveraging the A&F home office IT team for resolving infrastructure and application issues. Issues will be including laptops, desktops, and other store systems, including but not limited to, POS, Time & Attendance, and other HR applications within the Stores.

    Responsibilities:
    • Provide direct support to store and field associates within the region
    • Create business solutions and partnership by working with internal staff under the direction of the IT Customer Services team
    • Establish vendor relationships and service level management
    • Ability to work independently and to effectively communicate to the U.S. based corporate office
    • Monitor and support the satellite office(s); work with non-IT key contacts
    • Maintain and manage assets, ability to make recommendations based on the needs of the facility
    • Identify innovative solutions to improve cross-functional processes and operational efficiency
    • Oversee daily operations of WAN - Store Network Operations

    Desired Skills & Experience

    • BS/BA in IT related field required
    • 1 to 3 years experience coupled with a working knowledge of POS applications, systems, and peripherals, and networking and telecommunication fundamentals
    • Ability to align solutions with business requirements and assist users in gaining optimal benefit from IT systems
    • Strong communication skills will allow for partnering with vendors and supporting end users are required
    • Support all POS, PC, and printer related hardware and software
    • Support all POS, HR, and other store facing software (packages and developed)
    • Payment Processing (credit, debit, gift card)
    • OS knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, and Linux
    • Knowledge of networking is desired
    • Experience Maintaining TCP/IP and wireless Networks
    • Store Systems Support (Direct support of technologies in the store - POS, IP phones, handheld devices, etc)
    • Retail experience and knowledge of business processes
    • Certifications - A+ or equivalent experience desired
    • Must be fluent in German and English
    • Willingness to travel regionally (30%) and provide 24x7 on-call technical support
